Time. Elements. Self.

This fashion-art collection is a speculative journey into alternative futures, presented through evocative visual and sculptural forms. The work is deeply inspired by the poetic style of time theories, the feminine principle, and the profound essence of human existence. Conceptually, the collection synthesizes complex philosophical and scientific fields, challenging conventional notions of reality. Core theoretical anchors include the principles of uncertainty, the duality of void and particle, and the balance of yin-yang. The exhibition integrates the humanist philosophy of Rousseau with modern neurobiological studies on empathy and compassion. Sculptural elements and striking portraiture invite the viewer to engage with the material and emotional body simultaneously. Ultimately, the collection serves as a powerful call for introspection, connecting the viewer’s inner dialogue to the broader potential scenarios of tomorrow.

Perpetual Balance

Drawing on ancient Eastern philosophy, the exhibition uses the principle of Yin-Yang to articulate the necessary balance within the self and the emerging world. This is expressed through aesthetic contrasts: the dark and the light, the smooth surface of the skin and the rough texture of the material, the feminine principle and the machinic form. This duality is not conflict, but a dynamic, co-dependent force essential for the creation of new, harmonious futures.

Time

This section explores fundamental physics and metaphysics, utilizing the concepts of uncertainty theory, void, and particle. Our sculptures and forms embody this duality—the raw, textured material represents the tangible particle, while the negative space and deep black background symbolize the void and the indeterminate nature of the future. The collection challenges the viewer to find equilibrium between what is known and what remains perpetually undefined, reflecting the instability of any singular future scenario.

Embodied Empathy

This pillar connects the collection to contemporary scientific understanding, specifically the neurobiological studies of compassion. The exhibition aims to activate interoceptive and proprioceptive senses, subtly manipulating the viewer’s awareness of their own body and internal state. By fostering this heightened sense of self-awareness, the art creates a biological bridge toward empathy, proposing compassion as the key technology for navigating future complexities.

Echoes of Rousseau

We reference the philosophical legacy of Jean-Jacques Rousseau to ground the exploration of the self and society. The portraits and fashion elements examine the authentic, fundamental human being—the ‘savage self’—before societal constraints. By stripping away pretense, the art questions modern definitions of progress and technology, prompting a return to the innate, moral, and emotional compass that must guide our steps into an alternative tomorrow.
